**note: I thought this was only four barbells from weights 115-135-155-175. I just looked and it's actually five barbells from weights 135-145-155-165-175. So I started too light and used one less barbell. Eff.
I really enjoyed the AM session, came over to CSC instead of doing it at Lebanon, much more of a relaxed atmosphere at CSC.
The PM session did not start out very well. I was not in the right mindset when I got there due to some stuff that had happened right before I got to the gym so I was already mentally out of my training session. The shoulder press went pretty poorly, I was only able to press 100. I thought for sure I would be able to PR this today or at least match it (110). 100 was easy but 105 barely came off my shoulders. This was frustrating.
The muscle up/clean ladder was really enjoyable and fun. Muscle ups felt pretty good, I started off with 7. I think I could have done a few more but for some reason I was just swinging all over the place and it was hard to turn myself over by the 7th rep because the rings were way out in front of me. After that I did 3/3/2, with a bit too much rest in between sets. I finished the muscle ups in a little over 2:00. All the cleans were pretty easy, I really only had to stop and take a few breaths before 175. I caught it lower than usual and it caught me a bit off guard but I still stood it up fairly easily. HOWEVER: I just double checked this workout on the regionals sight and it turns out I messed up the clean ladder. In my mind I really thought the bars went 115-135-155-175, when in fact they're 135-145-155-165-175. So not only did I completely miss a bar, I started way too light. This is frustrating because I thought my time was pretty solid, but now I realize I did 4 bars instead of 5 and the first one wasn't at the correct weight. Ehhh dammit. I was not mentally in it today. Hoping this weekend turns out some better training results.
