Today was a little rough, I was still sore from the weekend. Snatches were alright, although I didn't feel very tight when I was catching it in the squat. My back was a bit rounded and everything felt loose, I don't think I was being aggressive enough in the turnover. Form was just a bit sloppy today.
Reverse lunges were not as good as last week, 155 was easy for 8 but 165 was very tough, I was only able to get 6.
The EMOM went pretty well. I had a wardrobe malfunction when I first started, my pants have become too big since I've lost weight and I could feel them falling down while I was doing my first set of handstand push ups. Luckily, Brandie saved the day and gave me a hair tie so I could tie up my pants! Classic. I apologize if I accidentally flashed anyone. I started again and all my sets of HSPU felt really good, they are definitely getting faster. My arms were still pretty tired from everything I did on Sunday so by the 5th set I was down to 7. CTB pull ups were the same way, I started with 10 but was down to 7 by the last round. I'm going to work on cycling these faster.
Very happy to see a de-load week, definitely still sore from Pro Day weekend but getting excited for the Open!
